Our biggest competitor only certifies their computer repair personnel to the CompTia A+ level. Personal experience, plus the advanced certifications I hold help me stay well above the completion!
I have been involved with systems administration and computers since an early age. At the age of 13 I was a systems operator (SysOp) for an online community bulletin board system (BBS). In 1996 I began as a systems administrator for a cellular digital packeted data mobile network (CDPD) with over 40 end users. I have served as a member of the technology board for our local police, fire and medical dispatch center. I am a system administrator for the records management system (RMS) for my main employer where I work as a Police Sergeant.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement Administration, with a minor in Security, from Western Illinois University.
